I don't know what this thread is all about but my uncle owns a business (that my mother works at) that sells Stihl chainsaws and other Stihl products. Suffice to say I'm big believer that Stihl makes the best chainsaws.

Thanks for the welcome guys. So I guess you have to have a certain # of points in some project in order to be part of "the team". I admit I am new to DC, but not THAT new. In looking for a home, this is the 1st one I've seen with "prerequisites".

You pop into a "banter" thread - throw down a thinly-veiled demand for information ... and a "banter" is thrown back to you. (did you notice the "winky?" That means "I'm joking with you" in computer-talk.
Now - if this little exchange causes you to stomp off in a huff - I suspect you'll not find DC of any sort to be to your liking. Things occasionally get a wee bit heated in heavy races.

lol you guys are gonna quit over not knowing what a "secret" is because you dont feel its in a team concept? LOL, you're kidding right? i hope this doesnt offend anyone too deeply but if you guys cant take posts in jest and realize that people in DC projects tend to poke fun of each other a lot on here, then frankly i dont think you should frequent ANY forum online and should, in that case, probably not even own a computer or do anything other than browsing for drapes on walmart.com. furthermore, arent we all in this for a common goal as a team? i mean does what one member of our entire team posting about something in jest that you particularly dont care for mean that he speaks for everyone and that the rest of the team is trash? no offense but if that's your attitude then i think YOU arent being the team player and frankly thats childish! :| i really hope im interpreting these posts wrong and that you guys arent quitting. just remember, its a whole team, not one person. as danc said, hes only one person on the team, although hes a very heavy hitter and mass producer , dont bail on us all because of something like someone saying things in jest that were taken out of context...

Heh been a nice good fun thread to read so far and as an angler I appreciate the skilful application of presentation and technique. The creel holds promise of fillets for all.
Unfortunately as much as we try to prevent it, we seem to get some of our own caught in the trawl netting. Best thing I guess is to ease them out before they get confused and drown, or struggle and cause hurt whilst thrashing about. More frightening is when a passing mullet throws in "a line" and has a better hookup rate than we were getting with far better gear. Better to be an angler than a fish anyways.
