My buddies want to head out to a wing joint tonight, grab a few beers, and watch some sports. I've never been a fan of Hooters as the wings really make me feel pregnant and bloated. How is buffalo wild wings compared to Hooters or Wing Stop? A new BWW just opened up and I've never been to one. Anything besides wings that I should get there?

i much prefer BW32 to hooters, simply because those are the type of wings that I like. I prefer buffalo style to fried wings with "buffalo sauce."

Hooters wings are a good value though, but not enough to get me into that place.

BWW is decent, do you have a World Of Wings Cafe around your area? They're easily the best chain for wings, and they have something like 19 different sauces. And it's not just 19 different levels of hot sauce. I haven't had all the sauces but the 11 or so I tried were all great. Never had anything except the wings at BWW so sorry I can't suggest anything else.

No WOW in the LA area. only wingstop, hooters, and BWW.

You could drive to the IE where we have one, that's kind of crazy but I use to drive from the IE to LA to go to the original tommys. 😀 I'd get wings from Wing Street over Wing Stop, they're expensive as hell, small as fuck and they put some weird sugar crap on their fries. I know I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually like Wing Street, the Garlic Parmesan ones are tasty.

Do you get the naked wings, or breaded? I know that when I had gotten them in the past, the breaded wings definitely filled me up quickly; the naked ones are pretty standard in terms of taste, and I'd probably choose them over BWW.

Too bad for you that you don't Wild Wings Cafes out west. 34-ish different types of sauce (and no it's not just 34 levels of hotness) and they are all tasty.

Making them at home is the best! I make about 30 at a time and tend to make 10 each using a different style sauce.

Cheap and delicious and easy.

BWW is way too commercialized and has tiny mass produced wings.

Locally, we have a franchise called Rooster's that blows BWW out of the water.

Yeh, Bdub has great sauces (Mango habanero om nom nom!) but their wings are so pathetically small it's criminal. There's some sort of paradox where a place either has good wings and crappy sauces or crappy wings and great sauces. I've yet to really find a place that offered the perfect harmony of both.

WOW Cafe & Wingery, they have huge wings that are always cooked perfect and 19 sauces. They also have delicious chips & queso and very good sweet tea. WOW is a perfect name for the place. They're pretty expensive, but they're some of the meatiest wings I've had.

I loved BW3's... until they got rid of the Thai sauce. 🙁

Wing Zone has the best selection of sauces IMO.

Cluck U has good wings, but their selection of sauces is lacking IMO (for someone who doesn't care for the abomination that is BBQ sauce)

That sounds delicious. I like BWW for their variety but I always end up getting the spicy garlic

BWW has the distinction of being the only wing sauce hot enough to make my nosebleed. Granted I was hammered at the time, but that is still pretty impressive.

They are pretty good in my opinion. Hooters is a waste for me. Quaker State is meh. Wing Zone is pretty decent.
