1) cgi
I have a linux webserver running mandrake 8.2 set up.Now i have a folder /var/www/ and i have html and cgi-bin now my questions is .....my websites are in
/var/www/html/
now if i want to use something that is cgi where do i put the files?
and what will the url ook like?

Is there a manual on how to use mysql.It came preinstalled and i want to implement it on a site im working on

For some odd reason php was not preinstalled and i have no clue on how to install it.I was wondering if there is a howto somewhere out there....
I went to php.net i can make no sence out of it.I went to another place but they have a guide on how to install starting from scratch like installing apache and stuff but i already didi all that.
