Thinking about picking up one of these two flash cards. Both are relatively cheap now and I am looking something for the S230 I just ordered :)

I am staying away from Sandisk because I understand they are the slowest of all CF card makers.

Kingston is the fastest, just about $10 more than generic no-name brand.

Just added Kingston :)

Kingston is the obvious choice. but Crucial is pretty good as well, a bit slow though :)

I always thought that Viking was the best and fastest for CF cards. I was going to buy a Crucial one... but when i went to their site... they didn't have my Canon S330 as being supported.

Kingston,

It's the fastest write speed and that's important in a Digicam! As far as listed as supported on Crucials site, I'd say don't worry. If it's a standard CF card it'll work fine! I saw a roundup on CF cards a while ago and it listed Kingston as the fasted followed by PNY, then Viking. Sandisk and Crucial where near the bottom That was for the write speeds BTW cause that's the more important consideration. Wish I had that roundup link I'd post it. :(

BTW nice Camera! :)
