Corporate Electronics Show 2026
Seriously... nothing really new.
Any summary of all new announcements/products/etc is almost without surprise or substance.
Why?
Maybe because of this:

Read AMD's keynote coverage https://www.servethehome.com/amd-ces-2026-keynote-live-coverage/
it's all Big Business: Big AI, Big Pharma and even Big Government...
Trump's own DoD science advisor was on stage with Lisa
while on Client side... just a rehash rebrand of Zen 5 without any real changes, Gorgon
and everything, everything else on consumer side is luxury nonsense:
www.theverge.com
out of the entire huge conference maybe the only meaningful new tech is Lenovo's rollable OLEDs, transforming 16'' laptops to 24'' nice and easy... basically nothing else. And that was already known, Lenovo showed it elsewhere before
All above are a pattern, proof that computing has already changed...
- There will no longer be much focus on client.
- Everything built for Server
- Big Cloud, Big AI and Big Gov will get the latest chip combos before anyone else.
- Client market will be more swamped with scalpers, limited availability, higher prices...
- New gens will have x2 price of prev-gen instead of prev-gen halving price

Rollable laptops, twice-folding phones, and a ‘longevity station.’ This is the CES tech we come back for.
