Excalibur?

I love staying at Excalibur. It's cheap and within walking distance of everywhere I want to go. I don't see the point on spending a ton of money on a room when you're barely going to be in it.

Luxor isn't bad. The Sahara and Circus, while cheap, they are far far far away on the other end of the strip where there isn't much action besides drugs and wedding chapels.

Um, I guess that depends on what sort of technology you're interested in.

I'm hoping for big news with Blu-ray and HD DVD and next generation display products.

Aladdin is reasonably priced, and has very nice facilities.

Treasure Island is also pretty good.

If you've got the money, go with the Venetian.

CES is an awesome show for Home theater stuff, computer wise it has gone downhill some (but all the big players are still there)
