Well, the snobs will say it's "middle of the road". I've owned all kinds of CV speakers (home and car) and love them all. Their woofers are boomy, although the center channel looks kinda small in this kit. I have the CV center that has 2 6.5" woofers in it and is LOUD. But, IMO CV is good stuff.

I can never make a decision on these things after going through the forums here. Typically, you'll get swamped out "better" systems. What is the ideal system, anyway? Let's say under $500

FYI: I just was at Best Buy today and walking around I saw 2 of these exact sets on Open Box buy for $289.99. YMMV
