Certainly we can all agree on this Russian Troll Farm

being unacceptable that is. I see no reason why any American would say this is OK.

Facebook accounts run by Russian trolls repeatedly called for violence against different social and political groups in the U.S., including police officers, Black Lives Matter activists and undocumented immigrants.

I want to say if anyone was duped by this trolling I am not assigning blame. The material was designed to fool people.

The great thing about alternative facts is now there is nothing that everyone can agree on. Everything is just an opinion, man.

Shee-it, Sherlock. None of this is anything our own far right hasn't been doing on their own for a long time. The Russians looked at that & decided to help more people on their way to crazytown...

Repubs have done it for decades, thinking they could always control it, dial it up or down to suit their purposes. That's when Trump & the Russians grabbed the mic... sang the same song, only louder. They never have to dial it back...

I agree that this is absolutely not OK. This is the first I have heard of this, but that is why I don't use facebook, twitter or any of those other social media sites. This and a few software and truck forums is it for me.

Any text, video or audio take in which Trump, anyone in his personal political, familial, social universe and the Russians are mentioned together will have been filtered out via synaptic conditioning by the GOP Ministry of Disinformation and Propaganda as administered to their constituency over their usual media outlets and will be replaced with the terms Crooked Hillary, uranium, Benghazi, emails, lock her up and Podesta.

Any text, video or audio in which the terms Russians, Facebook, Twitter and any other Social Media Outlet appear together will also be synaptically removed from the conscience of any and all conservatives who pledge their allegiance to party and pater unless those related terms are preceded by the word "FAKE".

Now we all know this is exactly what's going on between the omnipresent and omniscient conservative talking point generating machine and their conservative audiences.

So there is no practical way for those of us who are free and clear from the mind fvcking that the GOP is incessantly administering to their constituents to have an agreement of any kind when words and phrases like "Russian Troll Farms" are grouped together.

Even the term "Russian" in and of itself is now streng verboten from the conservative vernacular so embarrassingly guilt provoking that it is.

It just baffles me the the public is so fucking lazy that they don't have the time or desire to verify a story or news "report", but rather just suck up a facebook post. I really think that this is a non issue. If people want to be that fucking stupid, let them suffer with the results of their actions, or inaction in this case. I'm still struggling to find the law that was broken here.

The scope of this is huge. The attacks were not at all orchestrated simply to get Trump elected. They have spread across conservative and liberal positions with the overall aim of creating division and infighting.

Keep some things in mind. These attacks have reached a generation of Americans and been extremely successful, a generation that largely comprises of people younger than 18. This is not all about individual responsibility. Moreover, these attacks were orchestrated not by individuals or loose groups, but rather coordinated from the very top of a hostile foreign state. We have an enemy. We should not simply blame our public for being gullible. And we should not intervene only by expecting our industry to institute safeguards against troll accounts. Our government needs to address Russia, tear down this program, and do whatever is necessary to ensure that Putin never tries it again.
