I'ver personally used OJ on an ocassion or two and on quite a few occasions, used beer (Heineken only please).

That what happens when you don't keep milk in the house or the milk is 2 months old. :D

No milk = no cereal for me, thank you very much. We keep emergency waffles in the deep freeze just for this occasion.

Yeccch. OJ or beer? :disgust:

Just keep soy milk around ("Silk" is very tasty). I don't really like it by itself, but it tastes good on cereal (certainly better than beer) and lasts a LOT longer in the fridge than cow milk.

I've used OJ once or twice... not half bad, depending on the cereal.

Captain Crunch isn't too bad with it, but if you plan on eating Apple Cinnamon Cheerios, don't even think about it. :D

Yogurt is the only substitute I would consider, and that's not with all cereals either.

Apple Juice with granola. Great substitute for milk (if a little sweet).

Traditional subs for milk would be (Westsoy Plus) soy-milk (or the more watery "Rice Dream").

Lotsa people think of the water left in the bottom of the pot after (improperly) cooking rice . . . NOT! (That would be Rice "Nightmare"). :D

Its a rice-based beverage that attempts to "copy" non-fat milk. Really thin, but NOT rice-like, and not too bad as an emergency milk substitute for cereal. My LAST choice (after apple juice and soymilk) but BEFORE water or (gag) beer.

I used to eat golden grams (sp) with OJ all the time. It gave an interesting flavor to it.

I ALWAYS eat every cereal dry. It just tastes far better that way and isn't soggy. There is one exception: grape nuts since they are too crunchy I'll add a few drops of milk and then tons of sugar to stick to that milk.

I also just put the box of cereal by the computer/TV/homework and eat out of the box. You just can't do that with milk. A lot of cereals are great just out of the box (and I know many of you have tried it).

I can't imagine eating some cereals with milk. Frosted flakes is one example, yuck.

Yup, dry. Sugared cereals are best, things like corn flakes or rice crispies can be sweetened with pancake syrop. Milk doesn't agree with me at all, so dry is the only way I eat cereal.
