I've been hunting for a good travel mug. People keep giving them to me. I have five of them now. Only one of them actually keeps my morning tea hot. A metal one of all things. I've usually had back luck with those.

I have a big green plastic coffee mug. The inner walls (except at the top where the outside tapers back toward the inside) are at least 1cm from the outer walls, and I suspect, the cavity is filled with an insulating material. It holds around 16-20oz of coffee (I've never measured it.) I pour a cup of coffee at 7:30am, and if I only finished half of it during the morning, at 11:00, it's still warm enough to drink. I wish I could find another one like it.
