Thoughts?

Production values look great but uh...does anyone get a "cheesy" vibe or is it just me?

There were one or two cheesy parts (like when someone took an axe to the face, made me think horror movie esque), and it definitely seems really cliche. In fact, there's a lot of similarities to King Arthur, some Gladiator, and even a bit of Lord of the Rings.

what kinda made me double-take on this movie was the tremendous production values. Sure, there are some gimmicks, but the production values themselves look great, the costumes are fairly accurate, and the dialog isn't bad.

It strikes me that someone in the Producer Office couldn't make up his mind if he wanted this to be an action film, a period piece, or an epic.

This is already available on demand it seems on Xbox, PS3, amazon and some other service. Not in theaters though until the end of the month?

pretty good I gotta say. Little over the top and outlandish, but completely entertaining.
