Centers too small....

Truly, the best center would have been another N801. Also, I don't blame the guy. Those speakers are a bitch to place and move. They weigh so much and have a large footprint due to the 15" cone. Frankly, they are the ugliest of the line and I couldn't ever see it's need between the 802 and 800. Oh well...

I'd get the 802D if I had the £££ 😛

BUT don't you think it's savagely OTT if you had the 802D for rears and sides also in a 7.1 setup?!!!

Man that would be a crazy setup!

He would have to come down on the price if I had the cash. He doesn't mention when he got them, but they could be over 10 years old, and they are damaged.

Yeah for those speakers, I would pay at most 40% msrp if I were interested. But, frankly, I'm not crazy about the design.

And yes Muadib that would be a ridiculous setup with a 7.1 setup of them!

I'd get the 802D's if I loaded but sadly I am not.
