Actually, it appears it's a Ricoh MP7063A, the specification is at Ricoh MP7063A

If it is really a Ricoh MP7063A, it should be CDClone compatible.

I picked one up few days ago when there still was a $15/100 coupon available. Price after rebate will be $65. It's a steal for the price. Very fast DAE ripper (average ~18x, max ~30x).

Got one, great little drive. Benchmarked DAE at 14x with a slightly marked up disc. Pretty quiet (I can hear it spin up, but jeesh, picky picky) and seems to burn just fine for me. Don't see any reason not to recommend it.

Just received this drive from Amazon Monday. $65 shipped after rebate with the $15 off $100 coupon. Great drive for the price. No coasters yet:) Nero comes bundled as well. No burnproof, but if you just burn a few music cd's or make backups of your games;) it should be just fine. Picking up another for my Dad for Christmas. Lets just hope the rebate comes in a reasonable amount of time.

Okay, I'm kind of new to the rebate thing. I'm looking at the box and there at least three UPC type things on it. Which one is the one that I'm supposed to send out w/ the rebate form and order? Thanks

I did the combo Canon printer + this drive for $70 after rebate...

I went to look for the rebate form after the drive showed up today... no form (or reference to rebate) on Amazon. I emailed them and got this response:

Thank you for writing to Amazon.com.

I apologize that your order arrived without the correct rebate coupon.
Occasionally, manufacturers will simply forget to include them with
the product.

I have mailed a coupon today to the shipping address for this order.
It should reach you within 7-10 business days. Please note that most
manufacturers require that you send in the original UPC barcode with
the rebate coupon, so please keep the item's packaging until the
coupon arrives.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have further questions, and
thank you for shopping at Amazon.com!

The rebate was supposed to come with it? I think Amazon had it on their web site and they just took it down. If you didn't get one, you better email Amazon and ask them to send you one!

OK -- after waiting 8 days for Amazon to postal mail me the rebate form, I open the letter and find a print out of a web page (Internet Explorer was used to print it). Why didn't they just email me the link -- like I asked.

Anyone else need it? We only have a few days to mail it in... Amazon Rebate Form
