I have a movado, one w/o hashes for hours. I wear it as a fashion statement, not as a time piece.

Try titanium watches.. stainless steel causes reactions w/ skin.

The one day my cell phone died I had to check my ipod for time, but the cell is the one I'll always have on me. Watch? Not necessarily. Ipod? Not necessarily either.

I prefer using a watch for time; but, after my watch's strap broke, I haven't exactly rushed out to replace it. I really ought to pick one up for dress purposes; but it's path of least resistance for the forseeable future.

Considering that I currently do not have a cell phone at all, no, it has not replaced my watch. :p

I always wore my watch even when I had a cell though.

I rarely wore a watch even before I got a cell phone. I can't stand wearing jewelry and a watch was just like a piece of jewelry.

Since I've got a cellphone now, I definitely have no need for a watch.

I still wear a watch all the time. Looking at my wrist is easier than pulling my cell phone out of my pocket. Watches also look nice.

Always. I'm sure the fact that so many watches are being made out of stainless steel now and are thus FAR more durable and takes away a lot of repeat business. You have to buy a replacement watch now because you WANT one, not because you broke the one you have.

Weird. See this is what I love about Verizon, the phone's set the time and date automatically from the cell tower. So if you travel, the time updates accordingly based on your location. It even worked correctly when I was in Mexico a few weeks ago.

I thought all networks did this now though? I remember my cingular phone didn't, but that was like 3 years ago. I thought they all did now.

I deplore the loss of the watch as a standalone piece. It gives men the chance to say something about themselves. Beyond being a fashion statement, it shows much about your personality as well... Cellphones are just stupid toys for lazy people. I'd never date someone who uses the cellphone to tell the time.

Thanks. unfortunately, seems to happen with whatever I try, including leather.

It a lot easier to look at my wrist for the time than to grab my phone off my belt or frmo my pocket and bring it up to look at it and then have to put it back when I'm done.

Now once my phoen is embedded into my hand, then I might use it for the time...

I have a cheap-o watch from KMart that's my normal watch and I get out my Citizen Navihawk for special occassions when I dress up.
