... and you call each other (that's not unlimited)... that still only takes 1 minute away from the account right, not 2 (one for each phone) ? Sorry have only had single lines forever.

Well I would've thought that nearly every family plan had free unlimited calling (regardless of total plan minutes) to other family phones. If not, it would seem like it would take away 2 minutes still.

yeah its two im pretty sure. but most companies have mobile to mobile minutes. it would take out of there first. i.e. Cingular/Sprint. T-Mobile has unlimited mobile to mobile which is free calls for you to ANY T-mobile customer

Verizon is also unlimited to any Verizon cell phone, regardless of if its a family plan or not.

That's only with a 39.95 plan or higher. If you have a cheaper plan, no mobile to mobile minutes.

Also, with a family plan, only the primary line is able to make unlimited calls to other Verizon mobile users. The secondary lines only have unlimited calls to the other lines on the family plan. To upgrade to unlimited mobile to mobile for the entire family plan is $10 a month.

Interesting, I'm on the nationwide family plan and I'm pretty certain I've been making unlimited mobile to mobile calls (I'm the third line).

Yeah I was wondering why I didn't get unlimited vzw to vzw on my $34.99 plan then. Anyway, I'm switching to the share plan so as long as I get free minutes one way or another, that's fine. Charging 2 minutes would SUCK. Thx for the info.

yeah, when i read that it just sucked hard. I had just renewed my contract and was looking to add a 3rd phone to the family plan. looking over at cingluar/att, it may have been better to to that way :( oh well.. not adding that 3rd line anyway.
