Cell phone signal boosters

I know those stick on signal boosters don't work and are nothing more then a waste of money. I am wondering if anyone has ever used the ones from a company called Wilson, they make powered boosted signal amplifiers. I live in a rural area four or five bars are very rare!

5 bars? Heck - I'm giggly happy with 3! I have not used Wilson, but I have used Wi-Ex. You need to match the frequency band of your phone. I have used it successfully with Sprint and Verizon.

There is an internal amp and radiating antenna connected by long coax to a receiving antenna which can even be out side.
