i am currently with sprint and am thinking of switching over to another service provider (either t-moble or at&t). is it possible to keep my #? how much will i have to pay for this service to be done?

FYI, coming in Nov. (03) you will be able to keep your same cell phone #. It's called number portability and it's a joint effort by all the cell phone providers. I think it was something that Congress put into effect last year.

btw. don't be surprissed if your charged $$ to "export" your number from a carrier, and then charged to "import" it to the new carrier
