why can't they design a cell phone for students? as in, make it so that you can program your phone to go into "silent" or "vibrate" mode for a specified period of time. cuz seriously, i always forget to turn it to silent, or when i do remember, i then forget to turn it back to ring, and i miss calls. i know this is my own fault, but i think it'd be a nice feature to be able to program your phone like that.

Whiner. :p

Nah, I could see the market for it. Can't be that difficult to program it to vibrate for a certain amount of time.

maybe all phones should accept bluetooth signals so that you could just set up a bluetooth network that turns all the ringers off within its area... schools, churches, movie theatres, etc.

not here, and plus, then you wouldn't be able to see your missed calls!

My phone is set to increasing ring in my everyday profile, that way if I'm in the store or something, it's not annoying other customers and if I forget to switch profiles to silent, it's quiet enough that only I hear it at first and can mute the ringer in time.

If I put mine on that setting, but also have the key lock on, then I cannot use the mute button (locks it out, stupidly). Oh well, I am used to just using vibrate.
