I need to use a usb conencted cellular modem connected to a Cradlepoint ctr500 wireless router. From the Credlepoint's LAN port, I connect a Dlink wired router. I currently connect a laptop wireless to the Cradlepoint. My PC can connect wireless or wired; it is currently wired to the Dlink.
1) My Dlink wired connections (PC, Epson Workforce600 printer, Dish DVR, alarm system) often get kicked off.
2) I want to connect a PC, a laptop, and a wireless printer (the Epson Workforce600) to the Cradlepoint wireless router for print and file sharing. The printer only connects sporadically (I think it conflicts with the PC when the PC uses wireless) so I have the printer connected to the wired Dlink for now, but the wireless laptop cannot use it. The wireless laptop also cannot currently share files with the PC, currently connected to the wired router.

is DHCP disabled on the d-link router?
Sounds like the cradlepoint should handle all the DHCP requests. You might be running into some double NAT issues. The router should basically be setup as an access-point/switch.

DHCP is running on both. I think disabling DHCP on d-link is the first I need to do. I also read of connecting the d-link via one of the LAN ports versus the network port. Any value in that? Also do I have gateway issues here? The Cradlepoint is on 192.160.10.1; the d-link on 192.168.0.1.
Thanks!
