celeron voltage overclocking problems!

I have a celeron 433@550, with a FOP32-1 hs. I want to go higher, but i've been having problems with my voltage. When i go up by the smallest interval available, .05 volts, i can overclock to 585. But when i try to up the voltage by .1 volts to 2.1, the computer will post, and i lose video signal in the last screen before the winows splash screen during the floppy seek. This occurs at any clock speed, even the defalt 433. I can't understand it! Does anyone have any ideas? Also, when i use the mboard monitor that came with my ASUS CUV4X, the -5 voltage often drops down to -5.5 and a warning sounds, but the system is otherwise stable. Any suggestions?

That voltage sound pretty darm high. What is the standard non OC'ed voltage for that chip.

The old Celerons and PII were ran at 2 volts, so it is not alot for the chip.

Very odd indeed Butch. I am not sure what to think of it.
