It's a Celeron M running at 1.5 ghz with a 1 MB L2 cache, and I was wondering if anybody knows if it's worthwhile for somebody on a pretty low budget for a laptop. I've got about a max of $600 to get a laptop, won't be getting any P-Ms for it. The Cely M 370 doesn't sound too terrible, perhaps it'd even overclock a little. Anybody?

It is a good low-end mobile chip. In fact, it doesn't perform much worse compared to a 1.6GHz Pentium M with 2X the cache. The downside is that Celeron M chips LACK the power-saving features of the Pentium M (i.e. Intel SpeedStep), so battery life takes a hit.
