i have celeron II 850 @ 1.7 stock voltage dat ill be overclocking using an ASUS CUSL motherboard. i was wondering what is the maximum safe voltage i can run this cpu?

also, what HSF you could suggest i replace the stock with?

thanks...

1.9V, any decent socket A cooler should keep it cool. If it is a cDO stepping you should be able to get a 133MHz fsb for 1130MHz at 1.80-1.85v.

celeron II 850 @ 133x8.5 @ 1.85volts 😀 rock solid until now..

just wana ask something. i jsut wana know if my voltage is ok. though its running solid even for hours of games, i have obsrved if i try to up the FSB to about 135-136 my computer would become unstable. but increasing my voltage to 1.9 seems to perform ok again. so if ill jst stay with 133, should i worry about my voltage having a little allowance incase theres a fsb change?

also im planning to use a pentium3-100FSB-coppermine soon for experiment.. what possible speed should i get to be able to safely reach 133FSB @ a decent voltage?

thanks for this over-age topic 😀
