Celeron D and Sempron will disappear?

hi! acording of what I hear thats what going to happen? if so why amd and celoron bother to make those new version of celeron D and soket A if that was there intention? if no can some 1 explaing to me what version of intel and amd will be out in few month?

Yes, those chips will eventually no longer be available on the market.

Oh, you meant SOON? They'll be around for a while.
 
Ok, here is the common sense of things.

Sempron = Cheap
Celeron D = Cheap

Athlon 64 = Expensive
Pentium 4 = Expensive

If you take away the cheap, you only have the expensive options thus Intel and AMD make more $, but I dont get why one has to follow the other, I mean if there was sempron and no celeron then AMD would make so much more money.
