Celeron and 133RAM...

Can I mix a celeron CPU with 133 RAM? I thought you could and you jsut would not get the full benifit (but, couldnt I OC this??)... but some tech guy on the phone said no...

Definately. The tech guy is too used to specs. A PC-133 Module will undoubtedly work, however, you will be underclocking the RAM to 66mhz instead unless you overclock it to 133mhz FSB(which is very unlikely with the Celeron). The optimal FSB for PPGAs is around 100mhz, and 112 for FC-PGAs(Celeron 2).

Your tech guy needs a crash course on tech stuff. Get the PC-133 (preferably CAS 2 PC-133 in case you ever upgrade to a PIII).

The tech guy was a moron... he messed up shipping too and I am now sitting with two Iwill boards for the price of 1 (I was having one checked out from him and one was supposed to be returned and no way am I going to ship it out again). I just ordered a PIII for one board... may end up selling the other to pay for my upgrade.
