Hope nothing too serious.
I was more annoyed the last time seeing nurses on the hospital TV doing the stupid COVID dances

It's the skin infection from earlier this month. Symptoms gradually lessened but the "numb tingling" never fully went away. Then on Feb 16, though it wasn't swelling like it was at the month's start, the tingling sensation's area expanded again so that it radiates down towards the chubby muscle area below the numb. I can feel the "electrical" tingling when flexing.
Since the infection's start, I basically left my left thumb alone. Maybe there was a re-exposure to ground meat liquid that aggravated the infection. If so, then Whole Foods ground bison needs to be handled with gloves. Or it could have been from high stress lack of sleep giving the opening.
This time, instead of doxycycline, it's cephalexain since it was the ER and not urgent care.
Haven't had an abscess since 2021 after changing diet and the way refined carbs are eaten--I use a knife to cut things like pizzas or bananas on the occasions I do eat chewable sweets, I limit the chewing of the carb, or if it's pasta, the pasta gets seasoned with only olive oil and salt, then swallowed more whole than chewed.
