Everytime I add any drive (tried 3) it gives me this message in the device properties.

Message:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I've tried to delete it and reinstall but nothing seems to work. Not sure what is corrupted. Can anyone help me with this.

I get the yellow exclamation point in the device manager.

All the burners work fine in my other system.

Thanks,

Diz

Have you check your BIOS for auto configuration on your IDE controler is the drive set for master or slave

Yes. The drives were working fine. Now I get this error. No drives will work now.

Figured it out. A burning program I installed recently added some files to the registry that needed to be removed. All is well.
