CDROM: Not to be found?

I never had this problem ever before. Seems as if my computer does not see my CDROMS. I'm not sure why and want to find out. Here are the errors I get.

Doesn't say it there when I open windows+e and open explorer.

I right-click on to my computer and go into hardware, it surely shows them but when I go into Properties, this shows up.

I thought it might haven been the IDE cable so I went ahead and switched them. Same problem. Pretty sure I have the slave/master pins set correctly because they were working before then they just stopped showing up; the CDROMS. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling but it says a error has occured while installation. I'm bound to format but I was to find what the problem is first.

Try hooking one drive up at a time and have it set as master. One drive could have died affecting the other. Try a different ide channel meaning the same one the hard drive is one and see what happens.
