CDR-WIN with Iomega 12x10x32???

Hi, i have the Iomega ZipCD and when I run cdr-win it says no cd-rw found on the ide bus. Why is this? Is the drive not compatible with cdr-win? Would it work if I changed the name to Plextor? Thanks.

3.8B... it worked on my old sony 4x2x24. is the drive just not supported?

edit: just checked the goldenhawk website, and it says it supports all models of the zipcd.

I believe 3.8d works so they must've added support for it in the update between the B version and the current D version. Try downloading the newest demo from their site and check to see whether it can see your drive

yeah, it worked. thanks for your help... i didn't think that was the problem because the Iomega ZipCD didn't have a "NEW" for 3.8d next to it on the website. maybe it was first supported in 3.8c. Anyway, thanks for your help.

CDRWin 3.8D supported devices list

IOMega is on the list, so if 3.8B doesn't work, they must have added it in 3.8C or 3.8D

Your 3.8B serial numbers will work for 3.8D so just download the new version from here
