CDR quality?

I want to purchase some CDR discs to burn some VCDs/SVCDs and wondered what brands are good quality? I am constantly seeing deals in the paper for Imation discs or Hi-Val discs, how do these compare with Fujifilm or Memorex? Basically, what is good and what should I steer clear of. THanks

I recently purchased a 100 pack spindle of Hi-Vals and haven't had any problems with my burns. I've used maybe 20-30 so far. I've used Memorex before also and I honestly don't notice much of a difference other than the fact that my Hi-Vals are rated for 1x-16x only. But hey, I got the spindle for free so I can't complain. As for the other 2 brands of CDRs I have no experience with em.
