Your DVD rewriter deals are real lame! The AO3 can be found for under $380,The HP 100i under $415,and the Sony for for under $350 after rebate.The prices you quote are just about FULL retail! AS for cdrw drives,the Plextor 40X can be had for under $160 shipped from DELL.

If you have a better deal, then post a link to it and ADD to this great post. It takes a lot of time and research for EliteForces to create this
service for his fellow AT'ers. Thread crapping is rude (not to mention against forum rules). Please go and read the Forum Rules before

Sorry if I offended you! I appreciate his work,but can't see paying MORE than I have to! As to where those prices are from,Dell has thye Sony DVD+RW,the Plextor 40x at those prices!Compgeeks and a couple of others have the Pioneer AO3 at that price.As for THREAD CRAPPING,if he was selling these drives that would be thread crapping! Pointing out the prices are not very good,is acceptable! If you want to pay those prices,go right ahead! Like I said,I appreciate someone trying to save ME money!I think it would be prudent to check going prices,before posting his list of good deals! His prices for the cdrw drives weren't bad,but the price list of dvd rewriters was! The list price for the +RW drives has dropped to $499.The list has them for $599!
HOW is this a GOOD price?

The only thing I did that was wrong,was to use the word lame.I should have said not very hot!
 
Does anyone know if the Pine24x from BB and the IO/Magic24x from OM are rebags? If so, what are they? It would be great if they were Lite-Ons!

I will agree with you that the only thing you did wrong was to BE RUDE (lame)! I'm not 'bellyaching', I'm just pointing out that tact is a good thing.
I'm also agreeing with you that there are cheaper prices out there. All I'm asking is for you to contribute to this thread constructively. This can
be done by saying (for example): 'I found it HERE(link) for a better PRICE ($$$)'. That way you can ADD to a useful thread instead of rubbing people
the wrong way. Let's call it a truce since we are now all on the same page (literally).

One final thing....there may not be such a thing as 'thread crapping' in any forum but For Sale/Trade, but there is such a thing as FORUM ETIQUETTE.

Question about the OD Yamaha 24X deal.

I heard that both rebates (OD MIR and Yamaha rebate) require the original UPC and bottom box flap.

How do we do that????
