Having quite a few tech problems at the moment, mostly down to my own ignorance!
I have got a four-year-old Jupiter 40x Cd burner. I am having a repeated problem with it saying there is no space on blank cds or failing to recognise any disc in the drive? Does this sound like its solvable or am I best getting a new drive.
Thanks.

The issue is probably with the drive itself. If you can't read discs, then you probably won't be able to do anything with the drive. As long as it shows up in "My Computer" and is fine in Device Manager, I would conclude that the device is bad.

1) have you tried cleaning the drive.

2) have you checked to see if there is a firmware update for the drive ?

Good luck.
