I recently reformatted my pc, before I did I placed all my pictures and PSDs on a CD. My newly reformatted PC, will read other disks and operate there programs. But When I insert that disc it loads but then it freezes making me unable to save the files that are on there.

OS> Win Me
Pentium 4 proc.

Please Help. Thanks:thumbsup:

does the cd read in another computers? if it does, try booting from a 9x bootdisk into dos and see if you can see the files on there in dos. if it doesn't read in any other comp, you're SoL.

Try installing the burning software on your pc, then rebooting and trying again. If you used packet writing (UDF) to burn the cd, you need to install the proper application to read the cd.
