CD-RWs are not read, CD-Rs are...

I have an Optorite CW5201 52x32x52x CD-RW drive (D: ) on an XP professional system. I also have a DVD-ROM (doesn't burn)(E: ). For some reason the CD-RW drive doesn't read the CD-RW discs that it was able to read and burn last week. It can read and burn CD-Rs just fine, but not the CD-RWs. The DVD-Rom and another computer can read either of the discs just fine. Any ideas why it isn't working?
