cd-roms won't show up in bios

I've put in a Chaintech vnf-250 mobo and AMD 64 chip into my system. But after I booted everything up the cd-roms won't show, any suggestions would be very much appreaciated!

Thank You

R&R IDE cable is usually the first step. Then try one or the other. If either one works with the other disconnected, you may have two masters or two slaves on the same IDE bus.

Yea they're jumpered as the secondary master and slave. The dvd-rom being the master and the cd-rw being the slave. I have tried diff ide cables and that has not worked.

Thanks!
