I have two CD-Roms in one of my computers: A generic 32X and a Cendyne CDRW. They both have been working side-by-side for quite awhile now. Today, I went to install a USB mouse and noticed that neither of the drives are showing up in "My Computer". I assumed that the IDE cables were loose (or something like that), but soon realized that the BIOS sees both of the CD-Roms.
What might cause these drives to show up in the BIOS but at the same time, not to be mounted? Any replies would be greatly appreciated
