CD-ROm to ISO problems

ok well i got Gun(the game) for x-mas and have been playing it forawhile now...but my Cd-ROm is REALLY loud and gets annoying sometime while i am playing.....so i thought i would just create a .ISO of it so i didnt have to have the CD in to run it....but when i use WinISO to try and create a ISO i get the following error..

"Read Error, maybe the CDROM has a bad sector"

so does anyone know what i can do? i also tried WinImage and get a error also....this error happens before it even really starts

any insight anyone?

hmm odd.....i know this baby is old...but so far it has taken anything i threw at it...i even have a cd with a crack in it and it read it😀.....guess maybe its time for a new one..i am gunna go pull a new drive out of my dads computer(dvd burner) he just got and see what happens

nope tried the new DVD bruner and i get the same error...in both programs...so it cant be my cd or dvd roms...its gotta be the computer....any other ideas?
