Cd-rom installation problem

I have the Antec Sx1030 case
I tried sliding in a CD-rom at the very top of the 5 1/2 case but it is loose. Shouldn't it be secured and tight once slid in?

Yes, it SHOULD be...but of course that's not always the case.... It's all in the case really. Something could be broke, maybe even a manufacturing problem when the case was built that was overlooked. At any rate it doesn't really NEED to be tight.

The drive needs to be screwed into the case housing within the system.

Once you screw the drive into the metal supports around the drive everything will be just fine. Since it doesn't hold itself up it'll just be a little more of a challenge for ya! 🙂

Best Regards,
Bill martin
