CD-ROM firmware version

does anyone know where to see the firmware version for your cd-rom in winXP ?

run>msinfo32, expand components>cdrom & then look at the line PNP Device ID.
the firmware version is at the end of that line!

If you have Nero use the info tool and it will tell you for each drive

i had looked in system info ,but didn't realize until i went to plextors site and was reminded how they number their firmware , what the number was.
