Can I connect my LG CRD-8520B to the Promise ATA100 controller? I have an ASUS A7V133 MoBo, and the CD is currently connected to the IDE primary slave port.
The reason I'm asking this is because this CD is Multiword DMA Mode 2 enabled, and the MoBo doesn't recognize it correctly, so I have to use the VIA's IDE Miniport driver in order to use DMA with the CD.
