Hi!
I asked you guys to find my CD-ROM in Win98SE yesterday. I am posting the same question again, because no CD-ROM yet. (My computer is a all-in-one notebook with a built-in CD-ROM.)

Not only Win98SE but also CMOS cannot recognize the CD-ROM. Does that mean it is not a software problem (like Windows or driver things)? I tried boot with Win98SE Booting Disk, but the computer can't load the CD-ROM. Someone suggested reinstalling Win98SE, but how can I reinstalling Windows even CMOS can't recognize CD-ROM? and do you think reinstalling will solve the problem?

Have a COOL summer!

if the cd drive isn't seen in bios then check the ide cable connection or even replace the cable. if it's still not seen in bios, then it looks like either your drive or m/board ide controller is dead! :(
