CD- R/ RW- Drive Problems

Hi,

theres a Plextor IDE- CD-R/ CD- RW- DriveI´ve got (3 Day´s now!!!) , it was working till yesterday without any problems...
But when I was starting my PC today the CD- Drive- LED was blinking like it is creating or reading a cd (but there was no CD in the drive) also I wasn´t able to open the drive...just blinking all the time...also after reboot....no chance! The only way is, to disconnect Power while the PC is running...then it´s working again until next reboot (crazy isn´t it???)

Please some help!

the crazy thing is, that it was working up to today...but I found a firmware- Update, hope this will work!
