CD-R Disc Question

Im looking to buy some discs for the new burner I am about to get and the ones Im looking at is a 100 pack of Maxell discs with a "Printable matte surface", what does this mean? Does it just mean that I can write on it or that I can, lol throw it in a printer and print stuff on it with software. If thats the case what sort of software will work for this? I think my burner comes with Nero Express 6 but am not sure.

Aha those maxell with printable surfaces. My friend bought those thinking they were CDRW's. Maxell calls those CD-RPW's. lol

they're actually designed to be run through a specialized printer, if your printer isn't made to do it, DO NOT try it. 😀

Lol ya my printer is the one that grabs the paper from the bottom and then rolls it back out to you so thats not such a great idea. I'll just go to the store and buy a 50 pack.
