CD player keeps restarting after it comes from sleep

I have a toshiba laptop and I have it set so that it goes on sleep/standby after about 10 minutes of inactivity. Luckily, the CD player still plays, so I can put it on standby or whatever, and still play music. However when it comes out of standby it always goes back to the orginal track. The CD player re-initializes everytime. I have the TECRA model, and I'm not exactly sure what CD Player they use. I thought it might be because it was set on AutoPlay, but I unchecked that option, and still it does that. Does anybody have any idea?

Does you laptop have the ability to hotswap cdrom drive? If yes, can you turn that option off? If yes, this may help.
