This game is certainly not on one lost cd, so are you sure there isn't anything else you're not telling us?

Could be the dvd rom edition... but I'm still suspicious as well.

trust me, its not worth the trouble to play that game. it was a waste of a month for me. i would spoil the ending for you, but i cant, because there was no ending! the game went nowhere! just take this opportunity to stop yourself from wasting hours of your time for nothing.

What the hell are you talking about, theman? Sounds like you're talking about a totally different game. The ending was fantastic!

I didn't particlarly like the ending either, but I enjoyed playing the game quite a bit.

The game didn't come in a "CD sleeve" as I recall. The DVD edition came in a double sized DVD type case in which the DVD snapped onto the inside of it. So yeah, I'm sharing others' doubts as to the OP's story.

Not that I really care though, but if you're legit, then I'm sure bittorrent can help you.

are you kidding? nothing happened. all i did the whole game was run around a building that looked exactly the same everwhere, and when it ended, there was no big exciting thing. it was easy, and i played the last hour without saving once, and i was playing on the second hardest setting. thats the problem with FPS games now, the whole game looks the same, and you fight the same enemies throughout the game. why dont they just bring back levels. then at least you would get a change of scenery every now and again.

i don't think you got it at all :p

did you rush thru it?

there was a definite ending and a good one . . . and the story is quite clear . . . the "effects" and AI are amazing.

maybe that 6600gt isn't cutting it
:Q

and to the OP . . . unless you have a friend to lend you a missing CD, you need to find yours or contact Sierra.

no, i didnt rush through it, and thats what made it kind of boring. i would slowly creep into a room, and as soon as a saw i guy, i would switch to slowmo, and from there it would just be click....click....click.... on my keyboard and the guys would be dead. no exciting gun battles. altough i guess that was my fault.

and no, my 6600gt is fine, the game looked great, and it had a lot of really cool effects, i just didnt think it was fun at all.

sorry to hijack your thread OP. if it were me, i would just download the game. i mean, you already bought it, and you have a legit key. i dont see how that is breaking the law. and if it is, thats a really stupid law.

different tastes i guess ;)

i only used Slo-Mo a few times [really, maybe 5 or 6 times in the whole game] . . . overuse spoiled it for me . . . too easy [like cheating]

but i really liked FEAR

The DVD edition I got did come in a white disk sleeve with the sn on the back. It came in a regular sized game box. No DVD case. And I bought it at Best Buy.

i dont even know if it was a dvd or cd, but it was in a SLEEVE made of paper and plastic. the box was blk and white and greyish. there was not plastic casing... so getting a copy of this cd/dvd would allow me to install? anyone here would like to sell their original to me?

Maybe you can't find the game because that isn't the sleeve for FEAR, it's to a different game.

The FEAR box was not black and white and greyish.. Nor was there a paper sleeve for the disc.

You either bought a bootleg, or you're making this up as you go.

The initial release was not like that, but they've just recently started selling a different version without the fold-out front cover and different art. Probably for budget reasons or something. Don't believe me? Check Wally World.
