I have been placed with the task of finding the right equipment for our shop. Here is the deal

I work for a print shop for UMKC. Of course everyone's revenue is down and we are talking about doing the packs we would copy before (for our bookstore) on cd's instead.
So I am looking for a piece of equipment that I can scan jobs in like normal but than burn them to cd instead of copying them on paper.

Any input would be helpfull.

If you need to do high volume duplication maybe you could look for a local vendor who has the equipment, I understand it is quite expensive. Small scale of course a regular burner would do the job, but I'm sure you considered that.

???

Are you talking about burning a few hundred CDR's or pressing thousands of discs?

Just burning a few hundred. It would probably for the next couple of years be no more than two-three hundred a semester. That is being optimistic.
