i need to get a machine for my church.. (need a cd-burning machine. that has to have about 8 CDRW) i was thinking either stand alone CDRW, or a custom built PC w/ 8 CDRW.

i do not know how stand alones work, does it burn all the CDs (in this case 8 of them) at the same time? or one by one?

here's pro and con i've guessed, if you could help me get the right one, it'd be great. :)

Stand Alone

Pro:
no need for other peripherial.. (monitor?)

Con:
Cost
able to burn simultaniously?

PC.

Pro: Less cost
able to burn simultaneously? (disk juggler?)

Con:

thank you in adv :)

Stand-alone, Pro: some models have a hopper where you feed in a stack of blanks. Even with just one burner you start it up, let it run overnight, and collect your stack of CDRs. Slower than multiple burners, but much much less drudgework.
