Cd burning under Win XP

Hello,
Just upgraded to Win XP and unfortunatally I can not burn under it. Nomatter what program I use, it says that the ASPI drivers were not initialized (or something like this). I could not find any Win Xp ASPI drivers. Could you help?

Have ya tried Nero??? It doesn't require a ASPI layer.

Nero 5.5.3.5 works fine for me, however 5.5.4.0 wouldn't work for some reason...

nero 5.5.2.4 worked fine under xp as well.😉

What drive do you have? There are serious issues with some HP Drives under WinXP... supposedly there is going to be a fix but don't hold your breath...

I'm running Nero 5.5.4.0 under XP.
So far I have burn around 30 CDs on it.

I use ASPI 4.57 (1008)

EZ CD 5 works for me. You just can't use Take Two or Direct CD with WinXP. I'm not saying that it's the best, but it works..

You have to install the ASPI drivers. I saw a link above. Nero and other cd-burning programs will work then.
