CD Burning Problem

I have a cd burner and a toshiba dvd burner. Both used to work and now I can't burn a cd with either one. I dont know what the problem is.

I used deep burner and cdburnerxp. they dont give errors. but on the cd seems like nothing is written.

both read cds fine. only writing seems to have issues.

any ideas?

My first guess is that it is a software problem, as it would be quite rare to have the same mechanical failure in both drives at the same time (unless both did nothing).
 
ya, i agree. i thought it might be driver issue so i reinstalled driver, but that didn't help.

i think it might be related to daemon tools that i installed a few weeks back.

anything other than reinstall windows i can do?
