CD-Burner prob w/ XP

I have a matshita 8x/4x cw-7585 cd-rw drive on my computer and ever since i installed xp its been giving me problem now xo won't even recognize the drive, saying there are probs w/ the driver. can anyone give some help or tell me where i can d/l new drivers??
 
MoOo, There is a patch on the Microsoft Update page for CD burners and XP. Go to the "start" button on the desktop, and look for the "Windows Update" icon. Press that and it will take you to the update page. It will ask to scan your system, click "scan". It will tell you about the updates that your system needs, The cd burner patch will be in the list of updates. Choose and install it, and restart system. That's it.
