CCPXYSVC.exe

I have Norton Internet Security 2003 installed. For some reasion CCPXYSVC.exe uses 97% of my CPU power it does not allways do it but quite a lot of the time. Does any body have this problem.

My computer specs are in my sig computer name is Main.

If you want more information please ask.

I have run adware, norton antivirus and AVG v7 they found nothing. I also have this problem with another computer.

That is because that is a symantec proccess

if its doing this to your system consider alternatives to norton that consume less resources, such as freeware firewalls like Sygate or Keiro and alternative antivirus products like Antivir (freeware) or your currently installed AVG.

Yea I know its a norton process my problem its only started doing this in the last 2 weeks??

I had this same issue a while back. After one of the live updates, NIS went beserk using 97-99% of my system resources. Symantec was no help. I tried both the knowledgebase and email. I ended up uninstalling NIS and went with Sygate instead.
